Karla was born and raised in Honduras with her family of eleven siblings and a widowed mother. Despite adversity, Karla maintained hope that life was full of opportunities and that one day she would serve a purpose in helping others.

 

Before immigrating to the U.S., Karla served in the Green Corps and worked as a bank secretary. Her first job in the U.S. was working as a cocktail waitress on cruises, where she visited many countries around the world. During this time, Karla met individuals of diverse origins and walks of life, which inspired her to pursue a career that could truly make a difference.

 

A few years later, Karla discovered massage therapy while working at the Four Seasons Hotel, where she gained recognition as employee of the year for two of the three years she was there. After learning more about spa services, Karla was immediately drawn toward the practice of massage therapy and wellness and felt her calling was to become a massage therapist.

 

Karla graduated from the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in 2001 and has been practicing massage therapy for 20 years. Before opening her business, Karla worked with day spas and chiropractors, helping clients with conditions such as chronic pain, fibromyalgia, diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea, post-operation, and general stress. Throughout her years of training and experience, Karla mastered her skills in bodywork and skincare and developed a true passion for therapeutic services. As a practitioner and business owner, Karla strives to continue learning approaches that help with holistic healing and well-being.

 

Karla hopes to continue her efforts to help others through the services provided at her spa and welcomes everyone to join us on a journey to seek all-embracing wellness in the mind, body, and spirit.
